For her, photography means “write the Light”. Vanessa plays with shadows and crystallizes Paris in this deserted period. Her photos are marked by the time being, which has changed the world and will remain engraved forever .

RC. How did photography become your profession or your passion?

I've always been in collusion with photography, sharing my emotions through images. Capturing and sharing an image is like therapy for me, getting my emotions and feelings through.

RC. What are your inspirations and how do your creative ideas come from ?

My creative ideas appear spontaneously. At once, depending on my mood and on what I can see and feel in front of me. Sometimes, I "fly away" with crazy ideas, staging buckets of water spilled on the head or getting people to scream.

RC. What is your favorite project ? do you have an anecdote ?

The current project is on the rendering of the shots of Paris deserted by its inhabitants due to the confinement. It's both dramatic and beautiful. These images give off an exceptional emotion. An anecdote? yes, a truck parked in the middle of "place de la Madeleine" prevented me from taking a nice photograph. The driver couldn't leave because he was waiting for delivery. I suggested to him to turn this situation into an asset, getting on the truck. He smiled, and I took a photo from above of this beautiful church with his permission.

RC. What is your favorite brand or material ?

I use Nikon.

RC. Do you have technical tips or advices to share?

Yes I have a tip, sometimes I adjust the Tungsten mode on the camera to get a blue rendering, also called American night.

RC. Do you have coming projects ?

Yes, I have planned an exhibition at the Galerie" La Manufacture" in the 7th district (arrondissement) of Paris. More information on my Instagram, scheduled for early september about shots of deserted Paris. Some of them will be tagged by an artist.
