Flufiness by Sadi Yildiz | Magazine | Raw Creative Magazine | Créations Brutes & créatives
Sadi presents Flufiness, a creation based on volume and color. He looks for homogeneous volumes to create softness and colors.

What was your inspiration ?
This project is called Fluffiness. I came up with the idea while I was talking to Ludivine, the model, over a coffee . I suggested her the place and my vision of the project. She liked the idea and so we looked together for the garment that would match as much as possible with the picture.

How did the film and the shooting go?
The next day, we met near the spot. She took times to get ready and we went shooting. We did it very fast -20 min max, I think-, I had a very precise idea for the photo and the model really listened the instructions. Then, we sat down in a cafe where she could attend the development and part of the retouching to get a first view of what she will be able to recover.

What is your post-production technique ?
For the post-production, I did it as usual. Development with Lightroom and retouching on Photoshop. I always try to develop with natural colors, the closest initial light I saw on the ground. I use very little the tone mapping, it isn't my style, even though I like it very much for other people's work.
As for the retouching, I smoothed the background (it's a shot in front of an exterior wall, really rough and dirty! ), I reduced the jacket's volume so as to create harmony with the Afro style thanks to the fluidity tool !
Do not neglect photoshop which has got great tools and offers nice possibilities (I see many people using only Lightroom).
